Randy is an experienced Business Relationship Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry.  He is skilled in Commercial  Lending, Banking, Coaching, Sales and Credit Analysis. Randy is currently  employed at First National Bank 1870 and is the New Mexico Regional Leader in Business Banking, Vice President.

Richard Borrego, Treasurer

Board Member and Treasurer Ricardo Borrego is also Secretary/Treasurer of Borrego Construction Company in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  In that position, he is responsible for all legal, accounting, and general management of Borrego Construction.  Ricardo also oversees contracts with clients and job costing of construction projects.  Together with his brothers James and Robert, Borrego Construction has been building quality projects since 1978.

Ricardo has been on the Board of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since inception and has been Treasurer for several years.

Marcos Maez, Secretary

Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Marcos Maez currently serves as the Director of Student Engagement and Recruitment at Santa Fe Community College. Marcos joined the SFCC Recruitment team in 2011 after returning to SFCC where he graduated with an Associate of Arts in General Studies. After SFCC, Marcos transferred to the University of New Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and graduated Magna cum Laude. Marcos completed his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from New Mexico Highlands University. As a first-generation college student, native of Santa Fe, and Capital High School graduate, Marcos can share his story and the stories of others who found their success, and in some cases, chose to stay and give back to their community. He understands, firsthand, the value of a college education and uses his passion and enthusiasm to connect with people to communicate that value and the possibilities it brings. Marcos has over fifteen years of experience working with diverse populations in both academic and professional settings, including as an Art Broker for the Chuck Jones Studio Gallery; however, Marcos has found that his true calling is working with students and the community in programs such as ENLACE New Mexico, Mentoring New Mexico, Rotaract Club of Santa Fe and Toastmasters.

Elizabeth Camacho

Liz Camacho joined Santa Fe’s Office of Economic Development in 2018. Prior to her life as a public servant, she worked as a brand and communication strategist. Helping connect brands to culture through a variety of projects for brands as diverse as Nissan, Absolut, Dove Chocolate, Nivea, and Emergen-C in places like Europe, Russia, the US, and Latin America.

Over the last three years, she has used her market research, communication, and moderating skills to better understand and articulate residents’ and businesses’ vision for Santa Fe. She has helped on projects such as Midtown, the Food Sector, and strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. If you have a curious mind, an empathetic heart, and can make sense of data, Economic Development is the place for you.

Liz has a healthy appetite for hiking, yoga, and languages, and an unhealthy one for chocolate.

Brandon Casados

Brandon Casados is a Santa Fe, New Mexico native, having graduated from St. Michael’s High School. He then attended New Mexico State, where he earned a BS in Athletic Training Education. He later went on to obtain his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Cincinnati. Brandon has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, having worked both clinically and administratively in high school and college athletics, physical/occupational therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, primary care, and behavioral health. He is currently the Development Program Manager for St. Vincent Hospital Foundation.

Brandon resides in Santa Fe with his wife Maura, their daughter Mahlia, and two dogs, Paloma and Rollie. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys traveling, the outdoors, playing ice hockey, and is also an avid golfer.

Andrea Martinez

Andrea Martinez is a native Northern New Mexican who takes great pride in promoting the culture and development of New Mexico and the businesses that support and diversify its economy.  She is the Prime Contract Manager at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and started as an undergraduate student 20 years ago. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management of Technology from the University of New Mexico. She believes in creating a pipeline for the future and building on established foundations that have served us well. She is proud to be a Hispanic female and appreciates the support she has received from her family, community, colleagues, managers and mentors. She is a contributing member to society and wishes to share her enthusiasm and passion as a member of the Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. 

    Emily Mascarenas

    Emily is a senior account executive in historic Santa Fe, New Mexico, part of the Southwest region for HUB International. In this role, she is responsible for sales and service of commercial insurance programs she has developed in conjunction with her clients to protect their businesses. She specializes in developing insurance programs directed at General Contractors, Sub-contractors, retail, property, restaurants, and general businesses.

    Joseph Sanchez

    Joseph Sanchez

    Joseph Sanchez is the State Representative for District 40. He was born and raised in the Espanola Valley and graduated from Espanola Valley High School. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from UNM, and his MBA from NMSU.

    Joseph worked as an Engineering Manager at LANL and as CEO and General Manager at Jemez Mountains Electric, the largest electric cooperative in the state. Joseph is one of the investors in the Rio Grande SUN.  He is a former board member of United Way of Northern New Mexico and also a former big brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

      Doris Vigil McBride

      Doris Vigil McBride / Owner of Santa Fe Computers Supplies Inc. 

      Local Woman owned business of 34 years. SFCS Inc. provides computer supplies & professional printing services. Customer Service is our Top Priority.

      Doris graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1975. Worked with New Mexico Commission on The Status of Women on an outreach program to all NM high schools & vocational schools. Served in the Peace Corp in Colombia. Worked in Albuquerque for the State of New Mexico Employment Security Department. 

      Doris serves as a Board member for the Santa Fe Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is an ambassador for Kitchen Angels. She was in the Opera “Dr. Atomic” representing the Tularosa Basin Downwinders Consortium (TBDC). She is a member of the Committee for the TBDC for fundraising to send them back to Washington to testify on the behalf of the people of New Mexico for Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) funding, because of the Trinity Atomic Bomb Test in 1945.

      For 16 years Doris has worked as an unpaid lobbyist & Activist to testify for support of New Mexico businesses during the Legislature. New Mexico must be committed to the support, survival & growth of small businesses throughout our beautiful state.

      David Fresquez, Executive Director

      David Fresquez is the founder of Age Friendly Senior Care, LLC, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Age Friendly Senior Care, LLC Provides in-home caregiver support to seniors living at home. David has, on numerous speaking occasions, shared his philosophy, vision, and expertise on the programming and services to seniors. Thus in 2019, he earned the “Visionary Award” presented by Santa Fe Score for Excellence in Business. David is presently Co-chair of the New Mexico Caregivers Coalition. David has traveled and lived in many parts of the world yet Santa Fe is his favorite place to live and work because he is surrounded by family and friends. David credits his work ethic and passion to help small business owners and seniors to his parents and older brother.

      Jynel Torres Montemorano, Business Development 

      Jynel holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing & communication from the University of New Mexico.

      She is a licensed mortgage Loan Officer with experience of growing a business from the ground up. Jynel is dedicated to her client’s, which allows her to be an “expert” in her field. She has helped countless individuals reach their home buying goals. She provides a personal approach, with a focus on offering as much knowledge to her clients as possible so that they can be equipped with the tools they need to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

      Although Jynel’ s passion is putting people into homes, her love and admiration for community has allowed her to explore many volunteer opportunities. She has served on several boards (ALS New Mexico Chapter, Women’s Council of Realtors, ASPF), which have contributed to her leadership qualities.  Currently, she is serving as our business development director, where she maintains membership and assists with our marketing efforts.  She is also an intricate part to planning our annual 40 under Forty event. 

      When Jynel is not working, she loves exploring everything that New Mexico has to offer. She’s an avid “foodie” and an exceptional yoga instructor. She enjoys  many outdoor activities, but her favorite is skiing the Santa Fe Mountain.
